Christmas Collection at the Sculpture Lounge

I'm in two minds about this...

I normally avoid anything remotely Christmassy until the last possible minute, as I’m already sick to death of ‘stuff’ appearing in shops in August, and I'm completely over the whole thing by the time it comes around to, you know, actual Christmas, 4 months later.

BUT, I absolutely want to mention that The Sculpture Lounge will be hosting their annual winter showcase over the last two weekends in November, and I will have new oil paintings, some brand new prints and greetings cards featured in the show.

This unique Christmas shopping experience is hosted in the atmospheric Sculpture Lounge - a picturesque former textile mill near Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, now turned artists studios, teaching space and pop-up gallery.

Featuring a curated showcase from over 40 makers, it’s a fantastic chance to buy unique Christmas gifts for yourself your loved ones.

From paintings and prints for your home, sculpture, hand thrown mugs and silver jewellery, there will be something beautiful to suit all budgets. It’s also a valuable way of supporting artists and makers, many of them local to Holmfirth and West Yorkshire.

The Christmas Collection runs:

❄ Last 2 weekends of November (22nd-23rd, 29th-30th)
❄ 10am - 4pm
❄ The event is completely FREE, but please book tickets on Eventbrite (HERE) so the venue can keep track of numbers.

Live artist demos, shop and exhibition

There will also be a programme of live artist demonstrations throughout both weekends, so you can grab yourself a festive mulled wine (or your favourite hot beverage), enjoy the demonstrations, and wander round the shop and exhibition to experience the spirit of creativity this Christmas.

If previous years are to go by, it’ll be a fantastic showcase of stunning sculptures, paintings, jewellery, handmade gifts and affordable art, with a wonderful festive atmosphere.
