The Sculpture Lounge Summer Exhibition 2021
The Sculpture Lounge Summer Exhibition 2021 is hurtling towards its final weekend.
I'm delighted to have several paintings featured, most of which have never been shown before.
Plus there's a stunning mix of contemporary painting, sculpture, and printmaking, alongside beautifully crafted pieces from makers of furniture, jewellery and textiles.
The exhibition features work by both residents and carefully selected guest artists in the main gallery and gallery shop, so there's plenty to see. If you haven't managed to get down for a visit so far, get your skates on! And even if you have, new works have been added as the show has progressed, so a second visit is completely worth it.
It's open 10am-5pm Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August, but I do appreciate not everyone can make the weekend, so if you're quick, you can arrange a viewing by appointment for the rest of this week—just contact me or The Sculpture Lounge who will look after you.
In tandem with the exhibition, myself along with many of the other resident artists hosted our Open Studios event as part of Holmfirth Artweek Fringe from 4th-10th July.
I had a marvellous time chatting to everyone who visited, and it was lovely to get such wonderful feedback, interesting comments and excellent questions about my work—not to mention a couple of sales (20% of the commission on these goes towards Macmillan Cancer Support and other local charities).

The Sculpture Lounge Summer Exhibition 2021 is open Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August, from 10am-5pm (or during the week by appointment).
The Sculpture Lounge is based in Holmbridge, just a few miles down the road from Holmfirth, nestled in the Pennines on the edge of the Peak District, so you could even make a weekend of it and explore the local area. It'll be your final chance to see some fantastic art in an amazing space infused with creativity—don't miss out!
