This is a small, richly painted piece with an almost impasto finish—inspired by my series of rural walks around the village of Cawthorne, South Yorkshire, and in this case along the path near the allotments in late summer, with the towering hollyhocks and exuberant golden rudbeckia.
Framed in a contemporary black wood tray frame and ready to hang.
Finished with a low-sheen varnish for protection.
