Limited Edition Fine Art Prints on paper (Set of 4) - Edition of 50

This collection of 4 fine art prints embodies abstract light scattering through the tree canopy of a fiery red maple in autumn. Leaves like flames and shadows shifting together in fractured shapes..

The original paintings were built in layers from spontaneous charcoal doodles, abstract acrylic scrapes and splatters, and oil paint brushmarks that only happen when you're not overthinking it. The light is painted in reverse—a kaleidoscope of shapes and autumn colour.

Crimson, burnt orange, deep yellows and glimpses of cool teal hum amongst the layers.

It's an invitation to pause in our busy lives, and a reminder to look up every so often.

From a body of work exploring the Japanese concept of 'Komorebi' (the feeling and atmosphere of light filtering through trees).

Available unframed, or with a neutral-white conservation mount and black wood frame ready to hang. Please choose your preference before adding to your cart.
